How do I get information about my courses?

What are the courses/programs offered by the Marifa?

We presently offer Marifa Certification – Islamic Finance Fundamentals (MC-IFF), which comprises our first course. We aim to introduce other courses in the near future.

Do you have a demo of your course?

We do have a demo video of our course. To see it, please visit our website, www.marifaacademy.com.

What are the eligibility criteria for enrolling for the course?

Anyone interested in learning about Islamic Banking and finance is eligible to enroll for the course.

What is the duration of the course?

It is a 365 days open program.

What is the course fee?

The course is offered free of charge.

How do I enroll for the course?

To enroll, visit our website, www.marifaacademy.com. Click on the ‘Sign Up’ tab on the homepage, and you will be directed to fill out a form. Once you have completed the form and created an account, you will be registered and can then access the course material.

How can I take the test?

The test is conducted online. You can take it from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an Internet connection. The exam paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, which must be completed in 90 minutes.

Will I have another chance to take the test if I fail my first attempt?

Yes, you can take as many times as you want.

What should I do if I am faced with any technical problems

If you are experiencing problems with viewing the site or accessing any of the pages, please check that your Internet browser is up-to-date. If the problem persists, please close your account and website, and restart the Internet browser. Should the problem continue to occur, please send us an email on error@marifaacademy.com, so we can attempt to solve the problem and ensure that it never happens again

How can I play the training video?

Visit the homepage at www.marifaacademy.com, and log in using your user ID. Click on the ‘Learn’ tab at the top of the page, and select any of the Lessons. For example, you can select “Introduction to Islamic Finance”, “Sukuk” or “Takaful”. The video will be played automatically.

Can I use any Internet browser?

You can use any Internet browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 9, etc. However, please ensure that your browser and Adobe Flash Player are always up-to-date.

Do I require any other software to play the course videos?

No, you do not be required to have any other or additional software to play the course videos. However, please make sure that your Internet browser and Adobe Flash Player are up-to-date.

I would like to download the training content video, a PDF file or Word documents, etc. Will I be able to do so?

You can download all of the content available on our website, except for the videos that are not downloadable

I would like to obtain a hard copy of the study material. How can I do so and how much will I be charged?

You will have to send an email to info@marifaacademy.com, and you will be sent a hard copy of the material requested to your mailing address via register post/courier. The address that you send to us should be complete and correct, in order to ensure the delivery of the material. In our communication we will mention to you the charges of the content.

Is the Marifa affiliated with any universities or institutions?

We are currently not affiliated with any university or institution.

How will I receive my certificate?

Your certificate will be sent through an email.

Am I increasing my chances of getting a job by completing the Marifa Certification?

Marifa courses are a very useful source of knowledge for individuals who work in institutions that deal with Islamic finance and banking. The courses are also an effective means of enhancing a person’s general understanding of Islamic finance.

Do you provide course content in languages other than English?

Currently our content is only available in English but shortly we plan to provide our content in multiple languages like Arabic, Bahasa (Malaysian) and Urdu.

How is your content developed?

What are the other services that Marifa provides?

In addition to offering free courses in Islamic finance, Marifa provide institutions and businesses with special reports on an assignment basis and assists in developing customized digital content.
